Un-iversary
I was reading a devotion last night when I noticed what today's date was. I had been feeling down all evening and maybe one has something to do with the other. Today would have been my 10th anniversary. Obviously, it's not. Sometimes these things roll around without being noticed and sometimes they come with dread. I went to sleep last night thinking of ways to keep my mind off of it today. I woke up this morning to my sweet three year old snuggled up with me. She had a bad dream last night and came in scared, to sleep with momma. So as I watched one of my little angels sleeping beside me, I decided that today would be a happy day. A day to treasure the blessings of my daughters. So, I'm going to take my girls swimming this morning and later today, we are going to go see a $2 movie!

Happy New Year
I've been missing in blog land. I was completely overcome in December by the craft bug. I swear, it's like I can't stop! I made a large majority of the girl's Christmas gifts. They both got a doll and I made doll cradles and clothes for them as well as diaper bags with their names embroidered on them.
Yesterday, I found a book at the Salvation Army about making dolls. Somebody stop me! I'm also on an organizing kick. I used my birthday money to get a label maker. I was way more excited than is normal. lol!
Since then, I've also made wall decorations for my bathroom, cute note pad sets for family and teachers, and remade a lamp for Cailyn's room. Not to mention even more doll clothes and jewelry. I swear it's just all floating in my head and I can't stop.

My oldest "baby" turned 7 last month. She's reading up a storm and blows me away daily. As much as I need a job, I am treasuring this time with my girls so much as well as all this learning about me time. I never knew I was this creative!
